Ambitious Firm Hires Former DLA Piper Partner

The Leeds office of national law firm, Irwin Mitchell, has appointed senior lawyer Howard Davison to its Banking & Finance team.

Howard is a highly experienced real estate finance expert and during a legal career spanning almost 25 years, including six as a partner in DLA Piper’s Finance team, he has acted for funders on some high profile multi-million pound real estate finance transactions.

His main focus over the last five years has been to act for banks and also debt and insurance funds – these include ICG-Longbow, Bank J. Safra Sarasin, Aviva Commercial Finance, Santander, Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Bank.

Howard will work alongside Banking & Finance partner Paddy Sturman and senior associate, Robert Farrell.
