Fall From Height
An incident in which a man died after falling from a scaffolding lift at a Herefordshire drinks factory is being investigated by police.
Emergency services were called to Universal Beverages Ltd in Little Marcle Road, Ledbury, after the man was found on the floor beneath scaffolding. Paramedics said he died at the scene.
Police suggest it was an industrial accident but added that investigations were "still at an early stage".
A statement from Universal Beverages, which is co-operating fully with the police, said they had put some areas of production and some milling on hold while a full investigation was being conducted.
They added: "Our thoughts at this time are with family, friends and colleagues who have been impacted by this morning's events."

David Urpeth from law firm Irwin Mitchell said: “This was a tragic fatal work accident.
“Falls from height remain a major category of injury in relation to work accidents.
“All too often, I have to help workers pursue their compensation claim following an accident at work involving a fall from height or injury / death caused by falling objects.”
