A man was injured after he was involved in a collision on the A9 at the Skiach Junction near Evanton on the 16th September 2009. The man was travelling on his motorcycle along with his father when a vehicle turned right across his path, clipping his father vehicle before his and striking him off his motorcycle.
The man suffered frontal brain contusion as well as injuries to his right elbow and both knees. He spent three days unconscious in hospital before having surgery to fix his fractured elbow. He underwent further operations, before eventually being allowed home.
The man worked full time in the merchant navy prior to the accident and was off for six months before returning.
With the help of Dave Bell from Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, the man brought a claim against the Defendant driver’s insurers.
