Irwin Mitchell recently helped a client secure £11,000 in compensation following a road traffic collision on the motorway.
Our client was involved in a road traffic collision In March 2009. At the time of the accident, the client was a passenger, seated in the front of the car. Another car travelling in the same direction but in another lane skidded into the lane our client was in, causing a collision.
Our client suffered multiple injuries, including a head injury which resulted in post concussive syndrome and mild problems with memory and concentration. The client also experienced adjustment disorder with mood disturbance and anxiety, particularly associated with travel.
Due to these injuries and lasting effects, the client required round the clock care from her husband for the first week following the accident. Our client was off work for a total of two weeks whilst she recovered.
The driver of the car that caused the collision admitted liability in an out of court settlement and the client received £11,000 in June 2012.
