Wade Savage was working for Holdsworth Packaging Ltd when he lost three fingers in an accident.
He was asked to help with a large order by using a machine to cut cardboard sheets, despite having limited training on how to use the equipment. Wade's fingers were pulled into the machine and, despite the best efforts of hospital staff, they were too badly damaged to re-attach.
As Wade was under 18 at the time of the accident, a compensation was brought by his mother. Irwin Mitchell Solicitors are now helping Wade to secure compensation for his injuries.
If you or a loved one has been seriously injured at work, our serious injury solicitors team could help you claim compensation. Visit our Accident At Work Claims page for more information.
