Andrew Jackson



Andrew has considerable experience in all commercial litigation matters with a particular focus on professional negligence and director/shareholder disputes. Andrew also advises on procurement disputes, specifically in challenging contract awards. As Head of the Manufacturing Sector, Andrew has a particular interest in acting for manufacturers on all contentious matters. He has for many years been recognised by Chambers as a Leading Individual in his field and has been described by the Legal 500 as "an excellent tactician with a first rate grasp of law and procedure" as well as being "pragmatic and down to earth but also technically adept".

Recent highlights

  • Leading the team on numerous high value professional negligence matters brought against the surveying and valuation arm of a major bank
  • Advising an international bank on a multi-jurisdictional claim in excess of $10 million involving court proceedings in Oman and Grand Cayman
  • Advising EVT Eiberger Verfahrenstechnik GmbH, a German manufacturer of industrial degreasing plant, in respect of a breach of contract claim
  • Acting in a number of breach of contract claims for a national data and solutions provider against current and former Channel Partners
  • Advising The Landscape Group in relation to a number of complex disputes involving local authorities concerning potential breaches of EU Public Procurement legislation and breach of contract claims
  • Providing ongoing advice to Topcon (Great Britain) Limited in respect of complex, high value commercial claims.
