Nottingham's Lawyers Of The Future Receive Special Prizes Students Honoured At Nottingham Law School’s Annual Prize Giving 28.11.2013 Dave Grimshaw, Press Officer | 0114 274 4397 Budding lawyers from Nottingham Trent University have been recognised for their achievements over the past year as they were presented with prizes by a Partner from top 20 law firm Irwin Mitchell. The leading law firm sponsored several prizes at the Nottingham Law School’s recent prize giving ceremony which rewarded achievements for the 2012-13 academic year. On the night, Laura Buckley was presented with the Irwin Mitchell prize for the best performing student in the LLB medical law module, while Nazmus Sakib Tareque received the Irwin Mitchell prize for best LLB full-time student. Matthew Lappin and Steward Nicholson were also honoured with the Irwin Mitchell prize for best LPC full-time aggregate result in litigation. Nottingham Law School is one of the largest law schools in the UK, providing courses for every stage of legal training on the city campus. David Urpeth, a Partner and national head of workplace injuries at the law firm, and visiting professor at Nottingham Law School, presented the prizes.
