Irwin Mitchell Shortlisted For Employment Law Firm Of The Year Award
Head Of Department Says It Reflects Team’s Innovative Approach
Irwin Mitchell has been shortlisted in the ‘Employment Law Firm of the Year’ category at this year’s Personnel Today awards.
Organised by the leading HR trade magazine, the awards are now in their 21st year and will be held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on 19 November.
Fergal Dowling, partner and National Head of Employment and Pensions at Irwin Mitchell, said:
“I am delighted that we’ve been shortlisted and extremely proud of the team.
“Our employment group is one of the most innovative and best resourced in the UK and this shortlisting reflects our vision to offer practical solutions for our clients as their needs and demands change.
“We are one of few employment practices offering clients the benefit of a full-service law firm.
“Employment law advice doesn’t just sit in a neat box and I believe one of the things that differentiates us in the market is our approach to clients. We ensure clients can access IP, data protection, tax, pensions, business immigration and regulatory services should a situation require advice that strays out of the employment law arena.”

Commenting on the shortlist, Personnel Today editor, Rob Moss said: “The competition in each category has been intense. Congratulations to everybody who made this year’s shortlist and thank you to everybody who entered.
“A special thanks goes out to our judges who gave their time to look closely at our entries.”
Other organisations shortlisted in other categories by Personnel Today include The Co-op, Lloyds Banking Group, AXA, BT and IBM.
Irwin Mitchell’s Employment team has also recently been shortlisted in the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2019.
