I’m a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence Team, based in Birmingham. I represent clients who’ve suffered injuries while receiving care from NHS Trusts, GPs and private practitioners.
My case load is very varied and involves orthopaedic claims and cases involving fatalities. I also have experience of spinal and brain injury cases.
What inspired you to get into law?
I was inspired to get into law because I was fascinated by a profession which was challenging and fast paced but also allowed me to help other people at the most difficult times in their lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding part of my role is being able to see clients benefit from the compensation we’ve secured for them. Many of our clients need rehabilitation and ongoing treatment and it’s a real privilege to play a part in helping them access that.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The best thing about working at Irwin Mitchell is the people. Everyone is very supportive of one another and always willing to help.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy travelling and dining out. I’ve recently taken up bouldering as a hobby which helps me to relax outside of work.
