Kunal Gadhvi Named Corporate Restructuring Lawyer Of The Year

Irwin Mitchell partner Kunal Gadhvi was named Corporate Restructuring Lawyer of the Year at last night’s UK TRI Awards in London.

Returning for the 15th year, the TRI award programme recognises and rewards excellence across turnaround, restructuring and insolvency.

In a ceremony attended by over 500 senior members of the turnaround, restructuring and insolvency community, Irwin Mitchell was also shortlisted in the Corporate Rescue of the Year Legal Team category.

Kunal won the Corporate Restructuring Lawyer the Year award in recognition for his work involving holiday letting company, Houst – a business operating in eight countries and employing 300 people.

The case marked the first time the Restructuring Plan procedure has been used to secure the future of an SME business in distress.
