Top Two Spot For National Law Firm Across All Sectors And Ranked High For Graduates
Irwin Mitchell has been ranked as the top firm in the legal sector for apprentices to work for by the graduate and apprenticeship job guide, The JobCrowd.
The law firm climbed 34 places since 2019 and is now ranked one of the top three companies for apprentices to work for in the UK and number one in the legal industry. The firm also secured the number two spot in the legal industry for graduates to work for.
Described as the ‘Trip Advisor for jobs’, JobCrowd rankings for the Top Companies for Graduates to Work for and Top Companies for Apprentices to work for are based exclusively on thousands of employee reviews, making JobCrowd the UK’s only graduate and apprentice employer ranking system based on employee feedback.
The news follows Irwin Mitchell being recognised in April as one of the best places to work in the UK by Great Place To Work Institute. Three quarters of colleagues said the firm was a great place to work in a survey that shows what employees really think about where they work.
Expert Opinion
“To be ranked number one and number two in the legal industry for apprentices and graduates to work for is a fantastic achievement. The rankings show we are the top performers in our sector and one of the top three firms for apprentices to work for in the whole of the UK.
“The wellbeing of our colleagues is a huge priority for the firm and has seen us listening hard to feedback and introducing new policies designed to improve work life balance and mental health.
“Change doesn’t come overnight and while we still have work to do, these latest rankings, coupled with the Great Place To Work survey, shows we are getting it right. We have taken staff feedback on board and our results have improved year on year as a consequence.
“These achievements are a reflection on the hard work of all our colleagues and we will be using the results and feedback as something to build on. Delivering extraordinary experiences and results for our clients is our focus and being a great place to work is vital in ensuring we continue to attract and retain the very best young talent available in the legal profession.” Susana Berlevy - Group Chief People Officer
