Irwin Mitchell Presented Cheque For £4,000 To SNAPS
A Leeds charity has been given a financial boost with help from representatives of a specialist law firm.
Yorkshire-based SNAPS (Special Needs And Parent Support) was appointed Charity of the Year 2018/19 by Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds office, and the Irwin Mitchell Charities Foundation presented the group with a cheque for £4,000 on 24 April. This was raised through various activities between August and December last year.
SNAPS provides physiotherapy and support for children with special needs of all kinds, and their families, operating out of Penny Field School and Broomfield School.
Expert Opinion
“We are proud to support SNAPS as our Leeds office Charity of the Year, as they do a lot of fantastic work across Leeds.
I’m pleased that we could give something back to them through our fund-raising, as a thank you for everything they do for the local community.”

Jenny Sellers, the Community Fundraising Manager of SNAPS, said: “The incredible amount raised by Irwin Mitchell in just a few months is a reflection of how hard the Leeds office has worked to support SNAPS and will make a huge difference in helping SNAPS provide physiotherapy and support for children with additional needs and their families.
“We are so grateful for Irwin Mitchell’s fundraising efforts and we are very much looking forward to working in partnership with them throughout 2019.”
The Irwin Mitchell Charities Foundation has now raised more than £2m for good causes since its inception in 1997.
