Nominations And Listings Celebrate Excellence Of National Team

Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth has recently enjoyed a spate of award nominations and directory listings that showcase the market-leading position of the countrywide team.

Nick Rucker, National Head of Tax, Trusts and Estates, has been listed as a recommended tax adviser in the 2018 Spear’s Tax & Trust Advisers directory. The best and brightest of the industry are acknowledged in the directory, which is a leading publication in the private client sector.

Nick has also been recognised alongside tax partner Alex Ruffel in the Who’s Who Legal 2018 Private Client guide. This is a first-time listing for Nick while Alex has been previously included in the independent directory, highlighting the national outfit’s growing market presence in the private client sector.

The London team’s younger talent has also been recognised with senior associate Ravi Francis being listed in eprivateclient’s Top 35 under 35 rankings for the third year running. Ravi was made up to the role in the firm’s latest round of associate promotions in May 2018.

The top law firm has also enjoyed several award nominations for individuals and the national team. The Tax, Trusts and Estates national team has been nominated for National Solicitor Firm of the Year at the 2018 British Wills and Probate Awards, taking place on the 18th October. Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth has also been nominated for the Excellence in Private Client category at the Law Society Excellence Awards, which will take place on the 17th October.

National Head of Family Law Ros Bever has been nominated for Family Law Partner of the Year at the Family Law Awards, which will be hosted on the 28th November. Ros was previously nominated for the award in 2015.

The firm also achieved an amazing eight award nominations at the upcoming Yorkshire Legal Awards, with Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth being shortlisted for the Family Law and Private Client categories. Family law solicitor Scott Halliday is also nominated in the Rising Star category. The Yorkshire Legal Awards take place on the 11th October.

Finally the Private Wealth division has been shortlisted for Private Client Team of the Year at the Legal Week British Legal Awards, where the awards ceremony will be hosted on the 29th November.
