More Than 30 People Were Injured And Many Others Evacuated From Buildings Following Blast
Victims of the explosion on the Wirral at the end of March which left more than 30 people hospitalised have instructed specialist lawyers to help them gain both answers and justice in relation to the incident.
More than 100 residents were evacuated from houses following the explosion in Bebington on March 25, which led to the collapse of a building which housed a dance school and left two victims with serious injuries.
Merseyside Police is now working alongside other agencies including Wirral Council and Merseyside Fire and Rescue to determine the cause of the explosion and two men are under investigation in connection with the incident.
Irwin Mitchell’s specialist Group Actions team has now been contacted for help those injured in the explosion.
One victim has told lawyers at the firm that they were in a restaurant when the building opposite exploded causing the building to collapse. The restaurant windows shattered and the ceiling partially collapsed.
The legal experts at Irwin Mitchell have vast experience in helping large groups of people seek justice regarding major incidents and also represented victims affected by a similar explosion in Irlam, Salford, in 2010. The law firm is also instructed to act on behalf of people affected by the Didcot power station collapse and Bosley Mill explosion.
