Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth Helps Chichester Museum Celebrate Exceptional Astronaut
Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth (IMPW), is ‘embracing exceptional’ by becoming strategic sponsors of an exhibition celebrating Tim Peake, Britain’s first European Space Agency astronaut.
The ‘Tim Peake; An Extraordinary Journey’ exhibition, opens in December at The Novium Museum in Chichester, Tim’s home town, where the national law firm have an office, and will recreate Tim’s astronomical adventure and follow his journey into space.
Irwin Mitchell’s Private Wealth offering, which was launched in April following a merger with Thomas Eggar, is supporting the exhibition to confirm their commitment to the local community and to illustrate their belief that everyone can be exceptional.
The creation of IMPW saw bespoke legal services and tax expertise from teams at Mayfair based Berkeley Law, Berkeley Hurrell, Thomas Eggar and Irwin Mitchell join forces to form a market-leading private wealth business.
The exhibition will open on December 15 to celebrate the anniversary of Tim’s launch into space.
Craig Marshall, Chief Executive, Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth, said that celebrating Tim’s exceptional achievement was a fantastic way to mark the end of an exceptional year for the Irwin Mitchell Group and Thomas Eggar, since the two firms announced their merger at the end of 2015.

Tim’s father, Nigel, is helping to pull the exhibition, funded by The UK Space Agency, together for aspiring astronauts and space enthusiasts to enjoy.
Visitors can expect to begin their journey of discovery by stepping into the museum’s rocket lift and being transported into the ‘outer space’ level.
There they will find out about the Soyuz rocket, watch the moment that Tim was blasted into space, and discover what it’s like to live, eat, sleep and even exercise in the International Space Station.
Part of the visitors’ mission will be to get involved in scientific space experiments and other interactive activities.
The extensive exhibition, available to guests of all ages, will include a space suit visitors can try on and a sleeping chamber which recreates the experience of living and working in Space.
