

Updates On Key Developments To Be Held In Leeds, Birmingham And Sheffield
National law firm Irwin Mitchell is set to hold its annual series of in-house counsel conferences in October and November this year, where updates will be provided on the key business legal issues affecting in-house lawyers.
The free, full-day events held in Leeds, Birmingham and Sheffield respectively are designed to provide a practical and informative look at a range of topical issues including:
- Updates and developments in contract law over the last year
- Insolvency and supply chain issues
- The impact of the new Data Protection Regulation and developments in data and privacy law
- Updates in employment law including changes to the provisions of Holiday Pay
- Watching out for fraud within your business
The law firm is also teaming up with Actors in Industry to provide soft skills training on effective teambuilding and maximising resource.

The In-House Counsel Conference 2015 series will be held at Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds office on October 1st, at The Studio in Birmingham on October 14th and at Irwin Mitchell’s Sheffield office on November 5th.
The conference will offer 6 hours of CPD for full day attendance - 3 hours awarded for attendance during the morning black letter law updates and an additional 3 hours for the afternoon soft skills.
