News Comes Days After Suspected Norovirus Problems At Hotel In City

Reports that a number of children have been affected by a suspected illness outbreak at a Newport nursery are a major concern, according to legal experts who specialise in helping people affected by similar problems in the UK and abroad.

South Wales Argus reports that 23 cases of illness have been reported so far in relation to a private nursery in the city, whilst Newport City Council is working alongside Public Health Wales to examine the problems.

It has been claimed that viral gastroenteritis is the cause of the latest cases, which have been reported days after more than 70 people were confirmed to have been affected by a suspected norovirus outbreak at the city’s Hilton Hotel, and are suspected to be caused by the same virus.
