Defibrillator battery fault
Medtronic have recently reported a fault with the Lifepak 20 Defibrillator. Some Lifepak 20 defibrillators may fail to deliver therapy. Once mains power is disconnected the defibrillators may not turn on with battery power. The display is blank and all indicator lights are off. The unit is failing to warn that the battery is low. This causes all functions of the device, including the delivery of urgent emergency treatment, to suddenly shut down.
