Irwin Mitchell’s specialised personal injury team has helped 64 year old woman claim compensation after she was injured at a national trust property.
Our client was walking through a national trust estate with her husband at the time of the accident. There was no foot path so our client and her husband had to walk along the road. She was unaware that she was approaching a raised traffic calming device as the area had no signs, markings or notices. Her foot got caught in the device which caused her to fall to the ground.
Our client suffered a fracture to her right arm and a number of
soft tissue injuries to her left elbow and left knee.
Our client decided to contact Irwin Mitchell’s specialised personal injury team and one of our experienced solicitors, Stephanie Whatmore, was able to deal with her claim. Stephanie was able to secure our client £4,900 in compensation in an out of court settlement.
If you've been injured due to a slip, trip or fall, our personal injury lawyers could help you claim compensation. See our Slips, Trips and Falls Claims page for more information.
