Our specialist road traffic accident team has helped a man claim compensation after he was involved in a accident whilst cycling.
In September 2009, our client was cycling along the A4124 Lichfield Road in the direction of the junction with Millfield Road, Walsall. As he approached a junction, a vehicle failed to stop and pulled into our client’s path, causing him to collide with it.
As a result of the accident, our client sustained a soft tissue sprain to his right shoulder with a dislocation of the joint which required surgery to fix, a
soft tissue sprain to his left shoulder and soft tissue injury to his back and neck. Our client also suffered from some symptoms of psychological trauma after the accident.
Unfortunately, due to the injuries he sustained, our client had to retire from work in March 2011.
He decided to contact our specialist road traffic accident team and one of our experienced solicitors, Kerry Hadley, was able to deal with his claim. The driver of the vehicle eventually admitted that they were to blame for the accident. With this information, Kerry was then able to secure the client £97,000 in compensation in an out of Court settlement.
Our specialist road traffic accident lawyers have experience helping a wide number of people who have suffered injuries following a cycling accident. Visit our Cycling Accident Claims page for more information.
