Irwin Mitchell’s specialist industrial accident team have successfully concluded a claim for a dumper truck machine driver that suffered injuries whilst at work in September 2010.
Our client had been fixing a faulty fuel gauge on a dumper truck and was in the process of refuelling it, when he fell four feet to the floor landing heavily on the ground. The accident left him with grazed elbows, multiple bruises around his spine, and a cut by his eye which required surgery.
Rosalyn Holmes, personal injury specialist based in our Sheffield office, worked on the case. Although the defendants denied being at fault, she was still able to secure £6,500 in an out of court settlement for our client, compensating for the pain and suffering caused.
Our personal injury solicitors could help you claim compensation if you’ve fallen from height at work. Visit our Fall From Height Claims page for more information.
