Personal injury solicitor Louise Binks has helped her client to claim £2,000 in compensation from ASDA, after she was injured in her local store.
Our client was shopping in her local ASDA store and was looking for a particular box of drinks that were not visible on the shelves, so a member of staff retrieved her a box from the warehouse. Some of the glass bottles in the box had previously shattered and there were shards of glass notably sticking out of the box.
As she reached to pick up the box, she cut her hands on the glass and had to visit hospital for stitches.
Initially, ASDA offered her £800 in compensation, but our client wasn't satisfied with this. She decided to contact Irwin Mitchell's specialist personal injury team and was represented by Louise Binks from the Birmingham office, who specialises in personal injury claims.
Louise fought for her client to ensure she received the right amount of compensation and managed to obtain £2,000 for the injuries she had suffered in store.
