Irwin Mitchell's specialist personal injury team in Leeds recently settled a public liability claim for £11,000 on behalf of a client who was injured as a result of tripping over a mat at Huddersfield railway station.
Our client sustained injury to her face and head as well as to her neck, back and wrist when she tripped over the mat which had been placed in the entrance way of the railway station. It had been placed there as it was raining but had unfortunately become rucked up due to the flow of passengers.
Our team pursued a claim on behalf of the client and secured £11,000 in compensation for her injuries, which were sustained through no fault of her own.
