Irwin Mitchell’s specialised personal injury team has helped a man claim compensation after he was involved in accident with a vehicle.
On 3 September 2010, David was attempting to cross the A406 with a friend when he was suddenly knocked over by a car.
As a result of the accident, David suffered a fractured left leg, right ankle, and cheek bone. He is a self-employed sound engineer and had several months off work. He has made a good recovery from his injuries although will need further surgery to have the metalwork from his leg removed.
David decided to contact Irwin Mitchell’s specialised personal injury team and one of our experienced solicitors, Laura Murphy, was able to deal with his claim. Laura was able negotiate £40,000 in compensation for David in an out of court settlement.
