Whilst he was out cycling one afternoon at around 5pm, despite wearing high visibility clothing, our client was hit head on by a motorist making a right hand turn directly across the cyclist's path. The motorist suggested after the accident that she had simply not seen the cyclist, even though her passenger shouted at her to stop.
The cyclist suffered a severely dislocated shoulder which forced him to undergo surgery and prevented him from working; he also suffered from psychological injuries that have required counselling.
Thanks to the work of Irwin Mitchell’s expert solicitors, the motorist admitted liability and our client was awarded £17,500 in compensation.
