Our client, a 42-year-old female, was injured in an accident at a caravan site. The woman tripped on a large rut in the grass left by the wheel of a caravan that had sunk into the ground. The accident, which took place in 2010, left the woman with a fracture to her left ankle.
Our client was unable to work for around two months and suffered a loss of earnings. Throughout this period, she had to rely on her partner for personal care as well as household tasks like cooking and cleaning.
With the help of Mark Aldridge from Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, our client made a claim against the owners of the caravan park. The case was settled out of Court for £8,000.
