In May 2011 our client was shopping in a Tesco supermarket when she bent down to pick up an item from the bottom shelf. Suddenly heavy items stacked high on the top shelf came tumbling down and hit our client on the head.
An ambulance was called and our client was taken to hospital to be checked over.
Thankfully, despite suffering a concussion and a great deal of pain she escaped without any lasting injuries.
£1,450 was awarded to our client in an out of court settlement.
If you've been injured in a supermarket and it wasn't your fault, our personal injury claims team could help you claim compensation. See our Supermarket Accident Claims page for more information.
