Irwin Mitchell has successfully represented a 71 year old man who claimed he suffered hearing loss whilst working at his former company, John Legg & Son Limited.
The man worked as a general labourer between 1960 and 1975, but was exposed to noise from industrial tools and machinery, including Kango hammers and drills. The man was never provided with any hearing protection.
After a lengthy battle, the man was awarded £1500 in compensation.
