Irwin Mitchell has been instructed by holiday makers who contracted food poisoning whilst holidaying at the St Georges Three Corners Resort, in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.
Holidaymakers at the resort in Egypt fell ill with gastric symptoms including abdominal pain, fever, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, many of whom sought help from the resort doctor. We have heard from a teenage girl who was hospitalised for two days during her holiday and another 16-year-old girl who is currently receiving treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder since returning home early from her holiday. Many more holidaymakers are still suffering continuing symptoms since returning from their holiday.
We have heard many complaints concerning the lack of cleanliness in parts of the hotel and poor general hygiene in areas such as the bathrooms. The food served by the hotel has also given cause for concern with one holiday maker reporting finding a snail in their food.
This isn’t the first time we have represented clients who suffered illness or loss of enjoyment at St Georges Three Corners Resort. We previously represented three clients in 2006 and are disappointed to discover holiday makers are still falling ill at this hotel in 2011.
If you have been a victim of illness pain and suffering caused by your stay at the St Georges Hotel Three Corners Resort, we urge you to contact us as you may be entitled to claim compensation.
