I’m a Senior Associate managing the Court of Protection team in Southampton. I have experience in complicated matters relating to the Court of Protection, Will, Trust and Estate administration, Powers of Attorney and Property Law. I also have a particular specialism in Statutory Wills.
I work with people and their families who’ve suffered because of a serious injury, medical negligence or a criminal injury. Myself and my team work hard to create personalised support for our Deputyship and Personal Injury Trust clients. I work with various legal teams at Irwin Mitchell and different medical professionals to build a strong team for each of my clients to provide tailored support to meet all their needs.
Often my work involves managing trusts for high value personal injury claims and I advise trustees on how best to manage their trust and make decisions. My background has also given me valuable knowledge in helping vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and their families, with applications to the Court of Protection.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
I enjoy working with people and families helping them rebuild their lives after going through life changing situations. It’s a privilege to be able to help these people develop their potential and I encourage my clients to get involved as much as possible.
