Biography
I’m a specialist in contentious probate and trust matters, having qualified in 2014. I previously practised non-contentious probate work before changing practice area in 2019.
I deal with all manner of contentious matters including claims under the Inheritance Act 1975, both claimant and defendant. This includes: Will validity challenges, trust disputes, executor disputes and Court of Protection dispute matters.
What inspired you to get into law?
I was inspired to become a lawyer because of the hugely diverse and different areas of practice available. In this job, no two days are ever the same and no cases are ever alike. The variety of matters and clients I deal with keeps my job so interesting. The law is also constantly changing and evolving with the times, so keeping current is key.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I’m a people person and feel glad to be in a position where I can genuinely help people. When a person finds themselves involved in a legal dispute it can be extremely worrying and daunting. I’m there to reassure, advise and help.
When I achieve good results for clients, which can often have a significant impact on that person’s life and future, it is extremely rewarding and fulfilling.
