Biography
I am an Associate Solicitor in our Military Injury Team based in our Manchester office. I specialise in helping serving military personnel and veterans who are injured as a result of their service.
I primarily deal with Armed Forces Compensation Scheme claims where we are able to add significant value. I handle a broad range of cases but in particular I specialise in PTSD cases, where the results can often be life changing.
I frequently attend events in the local military community and enjoy the opportunity to become involved.

What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
During high school I completed some work experience with the Crown Prosecution Service and a few local high street firms. I was really grateful for the opportunity and it gave me insight into the legal industry. Almost every solicitor says they wanted to get into law to be able to help people but this is what genuinely attracted me. I wanted to be in a client facing role where I could really make a difference.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is helping clients to achieve the positive results that they deserve. To help support clients through a difficult time and then seeing the positive impact that we have on their lives and their family’s lives is second to none.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
I feel extremely fortunate to be able to work with individuals who are real experts in their field. It’s great to learn from those who have a wealth of experience and determination to get the right outcome for clients. They are always willing to support you by sharing their technical knowledge as well as providing me with support for my own personal career development.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
I enjoy keeping active by doing weight training in the gym and the local Park Run. I enjoy being able to get outside in the fresh air and regularly go for long walks and hikes in the Peak District.
I also enjoy public speaking and I’m a member of a local public speaking group.
