What Inspired You to Get Into Law?
I became a transactional tax lawyer because I wanted to operate in a specialist area whilst still experiencing the pace and commercial nature of a transactional environment.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect of Your Role?
Occasionally as a corporate tax transactional lawyer it is possible to unlock an issue that would otherwise have been a blocker to the entire transaction – it’s incredibly satisfying to find a solution to something that would otherwise have derailed the transaction.
What Do You Like Most About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
The people. Irwin Mitchell is an incredibly supportive and happy place to work, full of like-minded individuals who work hard but who clearly enjoy their roles.
What Do You Do Away From Work?
I have two young boys who take up most of my spare time. I love spending time with my family, especially outdoors – walking the dogs, camping, running and mountain biking. I also play rugby for a women’s NC 2 league team, taking up the role of openside flanker.
