Biography
I am a Paralegal in the workplace illness team based in Birmingham and specialise in mesothelioma claims.
I joined the firm shortly after graduating with a first class law degree and I will soon be undertaking further study to work towards qualification. The team I am in deals with very serious and life changing illnesses relating to asbestos exposure.
I work solely with mesothelioma cases and work closely with my colleagues to assist on their cases.

I enjoy working alongside a friendly, experienced and determined team who put their client's needs first. Irwin Mitchell is renowned for its exceptional client experience and I am proud to be a part in delivering this.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is undoubtedly meeting clients and supporting those who have developed an asbestos-related illness.
I find it rewarding how I am able to assist in achieving compensation to give financial security to loved ones and to provide some positivity in a difficult time.
What inspired you to get into law?
I was inspired to go into law to help others, who through no fault of their own, have been disadvantaged and to achieve some form of justice for themselves and their families.
I also enjoy challenging myself and I was inspired to go into law for this reason, as it is a demanding and challenging career, with no two days the same.
What do you do away from the office?
When I am away from the office, I enjoy playing and watching sport. I play netball at regional level and in the past, I have travelled to Australia to play against local teams and watch England Netball win the Commonwealth Games. I am also a supporter of Aston Villa Football club, which always keeps me entertained.
I also love travelling and exploring new cities and have visited countries all over the world. I also enjoy reading at my own leisure and always have done since I was young.
