Biography
I am a solicitor in the Court of Protection team in the Birmingham Office. I specialise in mental capacity and Court of Protection work related to property and financial affairs.
I have experience in dealing with high and low value Deputyships as well as Personal Injury Trusts. I support and act for a wide range of vulnerable clients including children and adults who have suffered brain damage as a result of clinical negligence. I also help those with a brain injury following a catastrophic accident, who need assistance in the management of their compensation awards.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
The idea of helping people, particularly those in need, is what inspired me to get into law. I particularly wanted to assist those who may be more vulnerable and less able to advocate for themselves. In my role in the Court of Protection team, I am able to do this on a daily basis.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is the fact that I'm able to offer help and support to those who need it most. I have a lot of contact with my clients on a daily basis. They're all such unique individuals and I feel proud and happy to help and support them.
