Biography
I am an associate solicitor in the Leeds Court of Protection department. I am a specialist in advising on the management of personal injury damages by way of Deputy Order or Personal Injury Trust.
The majority of my clients have received multi-million-pound damages awards, either as a result of medical negligence or a serious injury. I assist my clients with the management of their property and finances. I also assist in preparing and submitting applications to Court of Protection for non-professionals such as family members to be appointed as a deputy for their family member or friend.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Being able to assist clients at a difficult time in their lives is really important to me. I enjoy taking part in making positive changes to their life in order that they can have the best quality of life.
What inspired you to get into law?
I had a strong desire to have a career in a field where I was able to help others and being a solicitor definitely fits into that category.
What do you do away from the office?
I have two young children and enjoy spending quality time with them. We like to travel as much as possible to have new adventures.
