Irwin Mitchell Advises On Deal
The London office of law firm Irwin Mitchell has advised car rental software provider, Thermeon Worldwide Ltd, on its sale to Valsoft Corporation Inc.
Valsoft is a Montreal-based company specialising in the acquisition and development of vertical market software businesses. Under the agreement, Valsoft has acquired Thermeon’s assets, including its brand name, CARS+.
Established in 1967, Thermeon’s head office is in Surrey and has other offices in the United States and Australia. Its market-leading CARS+ software provides the tools for a business to run the full car rental process from reservation to accounting and reporting.
The entire management team will continue to lead the business under Valsoft’s ownership. In addition, Valsoft is committed to invest substantially in the car rental industry to drive innovation and digital transformation.
Bryan Bletso, Corporate partner in Irwin Mitchell’s London office, together with solicitor Charlie Milsom, advised Thermeon Worldwide on the transaction.
