I am a Partner and Head of International and Corporate, leading the firm’s international strategy and projects. Having spent many years heading our London corporate team, I bring extensive experience as a corporate lawyer, with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-value transactions for clients across multiple jurisdictions.

My practice is focused on advising businesses that are setting up in, investing into, or expanding within the UK. I’m highly experienced in handling cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments. What are your core areas of expertise and which clients do you typically advise?

I lead the firm’s international projects as Head of International and have extensive knowledge of international matters.

I have significant experience in assisting international clients with their English law issues, as well as helping UK clients and colleagues source the right expert advice across jurisdictions worldwide.

What recent successes have you achieved for your clients?

Over the last 10 years, we have introduced UK clients to trusted professional advisers in around 100 different countries through the extensive international network we have built. During the same period, we have also attracted significant volumes of English legal work into the firm from international sources.

On the corporate side, we have recently led on UK acquisitions for clients from the United States, Sweden, Malaysia, Hong Kong and across continental Europe. In these transactions, my London corporate team has advised clients throughout the acquisition process, helping them navigate complex cross-border issues and achieve their commercial objectives.

What were the most significant matters or deals you have led on?

Some of the most significant matters I have led on have involved helping international clients acquire UK businesses and supporting UK clients with their overseas legal and commercial interests. Through the firm’s international network, we have connected clients with trusted advisers in around 100 countries over the last decade, ensuring they receive high-quality support wherever they operate.

More recently, I have led on UK acquisitions for clients from jurisdictions including the United States, Sweden, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and continental Europe. These matters have been particularly significant because they involved complex cross-border legal and commercial considerations, requiring close coordination between specialist advisers in multiple jurisdictions to deliver successful outcomes.

How is your expertise recognised within the industry?

We were delighted to win the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2026. We are only the second law firm to receive this award in its 60-year history, and it recognises the substantial progress we have made in attracting international personal and corporate clients to the firm.

The award is granted for a five-year period and reflects our position as one of the leading providers of English law services to international clients. It is a significant endorsement of the strength of our international strategy, our global network and the quality of service we provide to clients across the world.
