Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office is proud to support Molly Olly’s Wishes
as its charity of the year 2016.
The Charity was founded in 2011 following the sad passing of Molly
Ollerenshaw. They aim to provide emotional and financial support to the
lives of children and their families with terminal or life threatening illnesses
throughout the UK.
They raise money to fund their “wishes programme”. Wishes can be
in the form of medical equipment, an experience or a special gift.
They also provide one-off donations to children’s hospitals or medical
establishments that need extra support beyond that provided by the NHS
and provide a special ‘Olly the Brave’ therapeutic pack including a lion,
book and book bag to children who have to have a Central or Hickman
Line in their chest, to help them understand their treatment.
For more information on the life changing work the charity does and how your school can support them,
please visit www.mollyolly.co.uk or you can contact Rachel Ollerenshaw on rachel@mollyolly.co.uk.
Employees at Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office are asked to nominate
a local charity to support each year and staff hold a series of fundraising
events to support the chosen charity. Last year we supported the Rape and
Sexual Violence Project (RSVP) and raised a fantastic total of £21,500,
which will go towards helping survivors of sexual violence and abuse.
