- The partnership will extend across England, Scotland and Wales.

Irwin Mitchell is excited to announce the launch of a new charity partnership with Crisis, the national homelessness charity.
The two organisations will work together over multiple years to design and implement initiatives to make a difference to people experiencing homelessness across England, Scotland and Wales.
After a thorough selection process, Irwin Mitchell has chosen to work with Crisis due to their shared values and similar approaches to client and homelessness member care. Crisis’ life-changing services help people across Great Britain start their lives out of homelessness. Like Irwin Mitchell, the charity focuses on personalised support to ensure everyone gets help and advice tailored to their individual needs.
Partnering with Crisis offers Irwin Mitchell a chance to make a real difference in helping end homelessness. This will build on previous donations from the Irwin Mitchell Charities Foundation which has already provided specialist support to help people find their own stable home, develop new skills and gain confidence so they can rebuild their lives away from homelessness.
The firm will kickstart its new partnership with support throughout December to coincide with one of the charity’s busy periods where they will provide vital services to 5,500 people experiencing homelessness across Britain. Activities will range from volunteering to fundraising with a group-wide festive jumper day and local raffles across Irwin Mitchell’s offices.
Craig Marshall, Group Chief Executive at Irwin Mitchell said: “We’re incredibly excited about launching our partnership with Crisis, but this is only the start. We’re working on plans for future initiatives to begin in 2026 that will aim to maximise this collaboration and help Crisis support more people who are experiencing homelessness.
“Launching this new partnership to our colleagues ahead of the festive season is a great opportunity to raise funds for the charity who provide warmth, companionship and vital services to people experiencing homelessness both at Christmas and all year round.
“Whether it’s delivering life-changing outcomes for our clients and their businesses, or empowering our people through personal development, we strive to make a positive impact in everything we do. We want to extend this philosophy to our charity partnership, combining impactful fundraising and volunteering with heightened awareness for an important cause.”
Andy Taylor-Whyte, Executive Director of Brand, Marketing & Fundraising at Crisis, said: “We’re both grateful and delighted to join forces with Irwin Mitchell. This partnership will make a big and tangible difference to the thousands of people we support every year as, together, we work towards a future free from the trauma and indignity of homelessness.
“Right now, there are nearly 300,000 households experiencing the worst forms of homelessness, from people sleeping on the streets to families trapped in cold, damp temporary accommodation. It’s thanks to the brilliant support and fundraising efforts of caring organisations like Irwin Mitchell that we can continue to help people directly out of homelessness and advocate for the changes needed to tackle it nationwide.”
The national homelessness charity Crisis works directly with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in nine areas across England, Scotland and Wales. They help people out of homelessness by providing practical one-to-one support to access benefits, healthcare services, employment opportunities, and more.
Irwin Mitchell recently published its latest Responsible Business Report highlighting its wider community impact activities as well as progress towards its net-zero targets and its commitment to diversity and inclusion.
