Partner Clare Wiseman Only Solicitor In West Midlands Area To Be Invited
An Irwin Mitchell Family Law partner has been invited to join the prestigious International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL), cementing the firm’s position as a leader in international family law.
Clare Wiseman, Birmingham-based Family Law partner at Irwin Mitchell, specialises in international family law cases with some high-profile cases under her belt. Most recently she represented racing driver Kenny Brack in the Court of Appeal concerning multi-jurisdictional pre-nups. Clare also specialises in all aspects of family law and separation, including finance matters and cases concerning children.
Her appointment to the IAFL, following a rigorous admissions process, marks an important step as the only West Midlands-based lawyer to be invited to the Academy.
The IAFL is a worldwide association of practising lawyers who are the most experienced and skilled solicitors at handling international family law and divorce matters in their respective countries. The IAFL is an invitation-only membership, now with 910 fellows across 66 different countries.
The appointment comes after Irwin Mitchell’s national Family Law team was named as a top-tier law firm in the eprivateclient 2021 Top Family Law Firms rankings, further cementing Irwin Mitchell’s position as a market-leading family law and divorce practice.
