Law Firm Receives Second Nomination In As Many Years
Irwin Mitchell has been shortlisted as a finalist in the UK Law Firm of the Year category at the prestigious Music Week Awards.
The Music Week Awards, which take place on 14 September 2021 at Battersea Evolution in London, recognise excellence across the industry.
Twenty six awards will be handed out on the night covering music labels, publishing, live venues, retail, A&R, radio, marketing and PR.

Irwin Mitchell’s appearance on this year’s shortlist follows a year which its national Media and Entertainment team has continued to invest in growth. It now comprises of 10 lawyers including newly promoted partner, Aurelia Butler-Ball, and recently recruited solicitor, Kate Norris.
During the last 12 months, Irwin Mitchell has advised on a new venture called ‘Passport: Back to Our Roots’ which will see major music acts, including Elbow, Everything Everything, Public Service Broadcasting and The Slow Readers Club, perform one-off intimate gigs designed to secure the survival of small grassroots venues across the UK.
The team has also advised on music related projects in the TV and video games sector including various deals for grime artist Lady Leshurr for her appearances on BBC Celebrity MasterChef and Channel 4’s The Circle.
