Latest Deal Part of London-Based Investment Group’s Expansion Plans

The Corporate team at Irwin Mitchell has advised UK investment organisation M&I Group on the acquisition of the Cheadle-based gas industry specialists, Direct Heating Solutions (DHS).

Led by Matt Smith and Tom Wisniewski from the firm’s Birmingham office, the acquisition enhances Bristol and London based M&I Group’s presence in the North West, while expanding its portfolio of repair, maintenance, installation and construction businesses.

A family run business, Direct Heating Solutions has over 20 years’ experience in the gas industry, specialising in installation, service and maintenance in both the domestic and commercial sector.

The move will assist DHS in expanding its existing high profile commercial base of customers, that includes British Gas, Leighton Hospital and Wirral Borough Council and delivering its top level project management to a new audience.
