Firm Moves Up 5 Places In UK's Best Workplaces Rankings for 2021
Irwin Mitchell has been recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK by the independent Great Place to Work institute.
A consultancy specialising in workplace culture, Great Place to Work uses a confidential and anonymous survey to discover what employees really think about the places where they work.
Despite having to adapt to new ways of working during the pandemic Irwin Mitchell has moved up five places to 15th in the UK's Best Workplaces 2021 - Super Large category. Irwin Mitchell has also been recognised as a top employer for women as well as a centre of Excellence in Wellbeing.
In the latest survey Irwin Mitchell posted its best ever colleague satisfaction scores with almost 80 per cent of colleagues at Irwin Mitchell saying the firm was a great place to work, while a response rate of 82% makes the survey a fair reflection of the business.
Irwin Mitchell has consistently improved its performance in the survey categories over the last five years following the introduction of a wellbeing strategy and its colleague commitment.
Just this week Irwin Mitchell announced its new Flexible by Choice approach to working post-pandemic which trusts colleagues to choose how and when they will work best subject to client commitments.
Other successes in recent years include closing the gender pay gap, improving diversity and inclusion and an increasing emphasis on work/life balance and supporting families.
