

New Legal Guide Highlights Firm’s Strong Litigation Credentials
The Times newspaper has today published its ‘Best Law Firms 2021’ guide and recommended Irwin Mitchell as a leading law firm in 16 areas of law within England & Wales.
Every year The Times asks solicitors and barristers in England and Wales to recommend the best law firms based on 26 categories covering business, public and private client.
Those with the most votes, from over 4,500 respondents, make it into The Times Best Law Firms 2021.
In addition to being named in this year’s guide, Irwin Mitchell was commended in 16 of the 26 categories.
In the Business Law category Irwin Mitchell was highly ranked for Banking & Finance, Commercial Dispute Resolution, Commercial Property, Company & Commercial, Employment, Financial Crime & Fraud & Regulatory, Insurance, and Insolvency & Restructuring.
In the Private Client category the firm appeared as a leader in the area of Charities, Family, Inheritance & Succession and Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence.
The firm is also commended for Administrative & Public Law, Education and Human Rights in the Public category.
In Scotland the firm was a new entry in the guide and was commended for personal injury & clinical negligence.

The guide which has been published today follows strong results for the firm in Legal 500 and Chambers.
In Chambers UK2021, 55 different legal teams and 118 lawyers across personal injury, business and private wealth at Irwin Mitchell were ranked.
In Legal 500 the firm was named as a top tier law firm in 32 separate practice areas, with 10 teams improving their rankings and four new sector entries.
