St Catherine’s Hospice Once Again Irwin Mitchell’s Charity of the Year
A hospice which provides vital support to people across West Sussex and East Surrey is set for a major fundraising boost after staff at the Gatwick office of Irwin Mitchell nominated it to be their Charity of the Year for a third consecutive time.
The annual charity initiative arranged by the national law firm sees lawyers and others based across each of its 14 offices vote to select a good cause which they can support across the year through both voluntary work and fundraising activities.
The concept is part of work under taken by the Irwin Mitchell Charities Foundation, an independent charity established in 1997 which has raised more than £2 million for a range of different organisations both in the UK and abroad.
This year, the Gatwick office of Irwin Mitchell has voted to once again give its backing to St Catherine’s Hospice, with the decision meaning that 2020 will be the third year in a row that the charity has been selected.
