National Law Firm Promotes 11 In Total
Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell has promoted four lawyers in its Private Wealth division to partner.
Emma McCann in the Sheffield Tax, Trusts and Estates team joined Irwin Mitchell as a paralegal in 1999. She qualified in that team in 2005, was promoted to associate the same year, and senior associate in 2017.
The Tax, Trusts and Estates team has another new partner with Andrea Jones, based in the firm’s Leeds office, being promoted. Andrea joined the firm in 2018 where she became the first member of the Leeds Tax, Trusts and Estates team, which has since expanded under her leadership to include an associate, solicitor and paralegal, with further new hires arriving in May.
In the Family Law team, both Jenna Lucas and Mark Hands have been promoted to partner. Based in the London office, Jenna is an expert in international family law matters, including child abduction cases and complex financial disputes involving international jurisdictions. Jenna was promoted to senior associate in 2018.
Mark is a part of the Birmingham Family Law team, which is one of the largest in the region. Mark, who was previously promoted to senior associate in 2018, specialises in a range of family law matters including issues relating to religious ceremonies, moving children across international borders and representing people across a wide range of financial claims on divorce both national and internationally.
In total the firm promoted 11 to the position of partner, who work within various areas of law helping both businesses and individuals including Family, Employment, Personal Injury, Debt Recovery, Tax, Trusts & Estates (TTE) and Public Law. Eight of the 11 are female and three trained and qualified at the firm.
