Alice In Wonderland Themed Event Is A ‘Huge Success’
Two hundred people representing businesses from across Manchester attended Irwin Mitchell’s Mad Hatter’s charity ball on 10th November and raised more than £11,000 for The Prince’s Trust in the process.
The Alice and Wonderland themed ball took place at the Imperial War Museum North and raised vital funds for The Prince’s Trust ‘Million Makers’ initiative - a national competition which challenges teams of employees to come together and raise £1 million in aid of the charity.
The unique event raised funds on the night through themed Alice in Wonderland cocktails, a raffle and a silent auction including prizes such as a meal and hotel package at the Michelin starred Northcote Manor Hotel, including afternoon tea at Great John Street and Hotel Gotham, theatre tickets for the Royal Exchange and much more.
Entertainment was provided by compere Graham Elliott, five piece soul and funk band, The Big Kahunas, and magician James Phelan - the nephew of the late Paul Daniels.
