Law Firm Supports Event For Second Consecutive Year
National law firm Irwin Mitchell has revealed it is proud to sponsor the British Citizen Awards (BCAs), which honour exceptional people from across the UK, for the second consecutive year.
Held across two presentation days in January and July, the BCAs were launched earlier this year to honour the accomplishments of individuals who positively impact their communities whose achievements may otherwise be overlooked.
The awards are backed by high-profile patrons including Sarah, The Duchess of York, founder and chief executive of palletized freight company Pall-Ex, Hilary Devey CBE, and Specsavers co-founder Dame Mary Perkins.
Nominations are now being accepted for the January 2016 presentations, with a deadline set for October 30th.
Irwin Mitchell has been a proud supporter of the awards in 2015 and once again is delighted to be sponsoring next year’s events.
Michelle Beat, Head of Business Development at Irwin Mitchell, said: “The British Citizen Awards is a fantastic initiative based fundamentally around ensuring that unsung heroes in communities across the UK are given the recognition and praise that they deserve.
“We are incredibly proud to have supported the awards in its first year and are delighted to continue it into another year.
“Through our work we meet some incredibly and inspirational people who against all odds make a huge difference to so many lives. So many people do incredible work to help others and we look forward to hearing more heart-warming and amazing stories across 2016.”
