Manchester Lawyers Set To Raise Thousands Of Pounds For Charity

The Manchester office of national law firm, Irwin Mitchell, is to host a James Bond themed ball on 5th November at The Hilton Deansgate aimed at raising thousands of pounds for the Prince’s Trust’s ‘Million Makers’ initiative.

The black tie event takes place less than 24 hours before the UK premier of the latest James Bond film, Spectre, and to mark the occasion the ball will feature 007 themed entertainment throughout the evening. 

The Prince’s Trust helps young people across the UK who are not in education, employment or training. In the past year, the Trust has supported 58,000 unemployed 13 to 30 year olds by giving them the skills and assurance they need to help with find work.

The charity’s Million Makers initiative is a national competition, challenging teams of employees to come together and raise £1 million in aid of the Trust.
Last year the Manchester office of Irwin Mitchell organised a masquerade ball and raised over £8,000 for the charity.

Last year’s event was a great success and we are hopeful that the James Bond event will be even more popular and raise a significant amount of money for a very worthy cause.”

Tickets for the event, which includes a drinks reception, a three course meal with wine and James Bond themed entertainment, cost £800 for a table of 10 and £960 for a table of 12. Individual tickets are £85 per person.
